Product Description
Multiple Profile Aluminum Cold Plate With Copper Pipe Liquid Cold Plate
Product Overview

This composite liquid cooling heat dissipation component features an aluminum alloy body with embedded TP2 copper cooling tubes. It combines the advantages of aluminum alloy—easy machining, light weight, and low cost—with red copper's high thermal conductivity, excellent pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance. This makes it an ideal cooling solution for power electronics and industrial control equipment.

Structural Features
  • Main body constructed from extruded aluminum profiles or milled aluminum plates
  • Mounting surfaces, fixing holes, and custom shapes can be processed to fit various equipment requirements
  • Cooling circuit utilizes seamless red copper tubes supporting flexible layouts including single circuit, multi-circuit, and bent flow channels
  • Aluminum base closely attached to copper tubes to minimize contact thermal resistance for rapid heat transfer
Core Advantages
Excellent Thermal Conductivity: Red copper provides significantly higher thermal conductivity than aluminum, delivering outstanding heat exchange efficiency for medium and high-power heat-generating components.
Reliable Pressure Resistance & Leak Tightness: Seamless copper tubes offer strong pressure resistance and deformation resistance with zero leakage under normal liquid cooling system pressure.
High Cost Performance: Aluminum body controls overall cost and weight, while copper tubes at key heat exchange areas ensure superior cooling performance.
Flexible Machinability: Aluminum body can be fabricated into complex shapes, and copper tubes can be bent freely, making it perfect for non-standard equipment.
Wide Compatibility: Copper tubes resist corrosion from coolants and work stably with ethylene glycol aqueous solution, pure water, and other media for extended periods.
Material Specifications
  • Aluminum Base: 6061 / 6063 industrial aluminum profiles & plates (balanced mechanical strength and machinability)
  • Cooling Tube: TP2 red copper tube (universal industrial pure copper with excellent thermal conductivity, ductility, and sealing performance)
Technical Parameters
Normal Working Pressure 0.8-1.2 MPa
Pressure Holding Test 1.0 MPa, no leakage after 30 minutes
Operating Temperature -40℃ to +85℃
Applicable Coolants Ethylene glycol aqueous solution, industrial pure water, dedicated antifreeze
Application Scenarios
  • Photovoltaic inverters, energy storage inverters
  • Industrial frequency converters
  • High-power power supplies, rectifiers
  • Charging pile power units
  • Rail transit electronic control equipment
  • Industrial servo systems
Manufacturing Process
  • Aluminum profile/plate cutting
  • Tube bending & forming
  • Copper tube embedding
  • Compression / glue filling / tube expansion fastening (to reduce contact thermal resistance)
  • Joint welding
  • Hydraulic & air tightness test
  • Precision shaping
  • Surface treatment
  • Final inspection
Selection Comparison
Advantages vs FSW / Brazed Integrated Cold Plates:
  • Fast design modification
  • Lower cost for small-batch and non-standard products
  • Convenient maintenance & replacement of copper tubes
Disadvantages:
  • Overall flatness is slightly inferior to fully welded cold plates
  • Not applicable to extreme vibration and ultra-high pressure working conditions

Selection Suggestion: Prioritize this product for medium & low-power equipment, customized projects, and cost-sensitive applications.
