FSW Cold Plate - Friction Stir Welded Liquid Cold Plates manufactured from AL6061 base material. A longitudinal channel is formed on the base through deep hole drilling, then milled through at both ends of the transverse interval. The channel is closely connected by friction stir welding technology, providing superior compression strength and thinner thickness. This technology has been successfully applied to liquid cooled heat sinks for high power fiber lasers.
The surface treatment technology of hard anodizing is made possible by the material with similar composition and the friction stir welding process without adding solder.
